North Texas
Help already exists here. It's just scattered.
Specific Connections is a free, phone-verified directory and partner network for people with specific needs, their families, and everyone who helps them. We're bringing that help into one place, and we're calling every listing to confirm it's really there.
The Problem
The system is not broken. It was never built to touch.
Services exist; access does not. It is a structural gap, not an organizational failure.
Why it matters
Finding help shouldn't mean starting over with every phone call. The help already exists across North Texas, but it lives in separate offices, lists and websites that don't talk to each other. Families are handed one name and left to piece the rest together. Specific Connections brings it into one place.
Our vision
purposeFULLy Foundation Inc.
A world where care does not depend on chance, where the help already exists, and every person carrying a specific need, and every person carrying them, can find it.
Specific Connections.
A connected community where no family assembles their own care team, and no organization works alone three miles from the partner it needed.
Coming soon
The full directory is coming soon to connectONpurpose.org, starting with 19 North Texas counties. Read along as we build on Substack: specificconnections.substack.com

How We Are Different
Whole household
The sibling, the friend, the caregiver too.
By need, not by agency
Find help by what you face.
A person calls first
Confirmed means someone called.
Plain words, with sources
Rights and steps you can say out loud.
Lived experience
Written from a caregiver's own life.
Faith and community
Churches and neighbors on the care team.
Free, no paid rankings
Nothing buys a place in the results.
The gaps between programs
The dog during an admission, the sibling's ride, the caregiver's own sleep.
Resources shared by professionals
Clinicians, providers and professionals add what they know and can offer.
Helpers connected
With the family's permission.
A marketplace, kept separate
Makers, sellers and shops sit apart from service results and are labeled not endorsed.
Local and small business
Neighborhood and family-owned businesses can list free, with no commission.
